Weight Watchers and Phillips (the manufacturer) admitted this product is horribly designed. Two of the units were lost by no fault of my own as I wore the ActiveLink as shown in their product manual, close to my chest. When I asked for a refund, they offered to give me back $5.00 for the last month's renewal. So far I have spent over $150.00 for the ActiveLink and the subscription. I expected more than a $5.00 refund.

I liked it and it got me motivated but its was way too easy to lose. It slipped off my bra during my commute to work. Most of my work pants do not have a front pocket and I'm not wearing it on my pants because anything there tends to jab me. I also wear dresses and I don't think putting it on my underwear is ideal. So I'm frustrated that I have to pay another $40 because it slipped off of me before I had a chance to notice it was loose. It's costly to lose when I can pick up free pedometers at any street/health fair these days. I will buy it one more time. Next time I lose it. WW will lose me as a customer for this product.

I just cancelled my account. What a waste of money and time! I would do the same activities each day and logically you would think that I would earn the same activity points. Nope - no the case. Running 6mph for 35min one day earned me 10 points, the next day 2. Seriously?!?! When I called to cancel, Heather the supervisor informed me that my base-line activity must not be the same each day. I informed her that there is no way that it is an 8-point swing. The absolute worst part is that once you purchase this piece of junk, you can't get your money back. I might have well taken $40 and flushed it down the toilet. What a disappointment!

If I walk 5 miles in my neighborhood, I gain 8 points. If I work hard in the garden for 4 hours, I'm completely exhausted, raking, picking up, carrying trash off to compost pile and only 4 points. What is the deal with that? So does this only track steps?

i read the instructions on the weight watchers web site. it seems pretty straight forward to me. you cant borrow or buy a used one. thats what not transferable means bud. not rocket science there. i also realize thats its size, close to an ipod nano, makes it vulnerable to tossing out with the laundry. so you need to be careful with it. $40 isnt too extreme a price considering other things we now spend our money on. my question is this, does anyone have a discount coupon code for these monitors and or the $5 subscription fee?
