I visited Bransdsmart on Motors Blvd. in Atlanta. I was looking to purchase a video camera and an MP3 Player. I visited the Camera area first and the sales rep. was very helpful and knowledgable. Before I made my decision on the camera, I walked over to the MP3 section. There were several MP3 players on display. I chose a 4GB mp3 player that was listed for $10.00. Of course I thought this was a great deal. I then picked out a video camera and proceeded to checkout. The cashier processed the mp3 player first and it came up $25.00. I informed her that the dsiplay showed $10, she checked and came back that the 4GB was $25.00 and the 2GB was $10.00. I returned to the floor where the display was and spoke with the sales rep. The display was clearly incorrect. There were two rows of 4GB mp3 players listed for $10.00. I said to the rep. "I should get this item for the listed price of $10.00 and this display should be fixed immediately." He spoke with the sales manager who simply stated the SKU on the $10.00 price tag is different than items listed under it. He then stated that sometimes customers will move items around. Very insulting considering was about to purchase a video camera for over $200. The sales rep. then proceeded to remove all of the price tags, as I stood there. I soon realized that the $10.00 price would not be honored. I returned the mp3 player to it's location and I left the video camera in the store. I immediately went to Best Buy and successfully purchased both items.
